Life Update

Well, hey there! It's been 8 months... jesus I promised myself I'd write more, but life's been hard honestly. Constant battles with myself and others take a toll on a person.

To start off:

  1. My Laptop: Wellllllll, it's royally dead. Like for real for real, gone. I got a different ThinkPad that's got a "G" problem where it types "G" when it feels like it, and it has 256 GB of storage, so well, take a look for yourself:

Yes, I am absolutely cooked.

  1. Employment: Yeah, I still don't have a j*b and am not employed.

  1. Hackathons: This is something that changed my life around. In March, I started going to hackathons. Won some, lost many, heh, but it's fun building projects alone and with friends. Many of the latest projects in the projects section are things a few friends and I built over the weekends. This is the one thing that helped me the most!

  2. Freelancing: Freelancing started off as creating websites for people, and currently it's still the same, need to change that. I've done like 2 gigs so far, hopefully more come my way.

  3. Mental Health: Since October, and now it's basically the end of May going into June, I've been royally depressed to say the least. No motivation to do anything, and my will to live was going downhill if I have to say the least. Hackathons were weirdly the only thing that kept me grounded. Cherish the people around you, and make sure to ask them how they're doing.

  4. College and MUKTI: I'm now about to complete my third year in college. F me, I guess. Mukti has been going strong, and we found some talented juniors who I hope will take over the club once me and the current team are gone. We also conducted 2 events in November. Read more about it here. I don't know what the future holds, but I'm hoping it'll be good. Times aren't going so great right now, so hopefully things will get better. Here's to hoping for another year.

  5. What now?: First, I'll stop saying "Well". It's getting repetitive, I need to stop.

  • First thing I want to do is continue blogging my days. Maybe not daily or even weekly, but at least once a month? Sounds good.
  • I also want to continue creating. I just love creating, I want to leave an impact, and I don't want to lose this one thing I've got going.
  • Get a job, obviously. Please hire me :pray:
